Cavan Arts Festival

A magical four days and nights of art and culture in the heart of Cavan Town awaits from the 18th to the 21st of May. Cavan Arts Festival is proud to be part of the growing movement helping to enrich the cultural landscape of our town and region. At various locations across Cavan Town, you can enjoy Live Music, Theatre, Art Events, and Installations – plus the big top tent in Con Smith Park. Explore The Historic Drumlins Of Cavan By E-Bike As Part Of European Geoparks Network Week


Join Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark Guide Fergal around Inishmore on this fascinating 18km bike trail. Explore the drumlins scenic landscape with its notable rivers, lakes, and biodiversity. Hear about the history of ancient sites and other features of interest. The trail route includes tarmac roads and quiet country lanes. Prebooking is essential by contacting Cavan Adventure Centre.

Cavan County Fleadh, Belturbet

In the heart of County Cavan, nestled in the picturesque town of Belturbet, the Cavan County Fleadh promises to be a celebration of Irish music, food, and culture like no other. Running from the 2nd to the 4th of June, expect plenty of musical performances, workshops, competitions, food demonstrations and more.

Killeshandra Camino Calling

After the resounding success of year 1, Killeshandra Camino calling is back on the 17th of June from 8am to 5pm. Take the 35.5km walk through the beautiful lake-dotted landscapes of Killeshandra and beyond in the heart of the Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark. The Fee is €40 (excl. booking fee) includes map, drinks/fruit en route, hot dinner at the finish and a passport plus commemorative Certificate of completion. Book your ticket here.
