Teddy Bear Hospital Experience
Now you can visit our Teddy Bear Hospital every Thursday from 11am-12.30pm for your very own Teddy Bear Hospital Experience. You can watch how we restore Teddy Bears on the day. Sometimes they are very old (between 60-100 years) and need a lot of TLC. Other days we might have comforters belonging to smaller children for repair. You can pickup some sewing skills while you with us. We also show you old growlers, damaged joints and material that should have never been used to stuff a Teddy Bear. Refreshments are included. An add on option is to Build Your Bear during your stay. Extra charges apply. Repair your bear yourself or we repair your bear while you with us. Extra charges apply.
We are based in West Cavan in Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands. We do not offer a walk in service except to visit our Teddy Bear Gift Shop (open Thursday, Friday and Saturday). All Hospital visits have to be pre-booked.
We are looking forward meeting you. Bring your old bear if you like. We love to see him.
Cost per adult €35, second adult €25, children €15 each. Build A Bear €35 extra. If we repair your bear on that day you will have the cost for restoration and material as well.
All our workshops, including the Teddy Bear hospital are run by Anke and her staff of Bear Essentials Ireland.
