The Cottage Market Christmas Market
The seasonal markets on Town Hall Street in Cavan Town are not to be missed. And it’s all down to the Cottage Market Cavan for making the markets a fantastically festive weekend of food, craft, family entertainment and more. This year, the Christmas Market is happening on the 2nd and 3rd of December so save the date. Expect music, Christmas lights, gorgeous local food, beautiful handmade gifts, street art and performances and so much more.
Cootehill Christmas Market
The 2022 Christmas Market in Cootehill was a roaring success and they are back again this year, bigger and better. The Market takes place on the 19th of November, from 12 to 5pm, in the main public carpark behind Supervalu. Christmas Festive Huts, artisan and delicious foods, soul warming drinks, crafts, kiddies’ activities and more. Enjoy music and entertainment by local artists.
Loughan House Christmas Market
Another joyful evening out will be held at Loughan House Christmas Food and Craft fair outside Blacklion on the 8th of December from 3pm to 7pm. Up to 30 traders with uniquely local produce, as well as Loughan’s own enterprises will be on display in their fully covered Christmas Market.
This year, Loughan House Food and Craft fair are hosting the Christmas Markets within their School/Work Training building. Their traffic management team will guide you on arrival.
Slieve Russell Craft Fair
The annual Slieve Russell Christmas Craft and Gift Fair is on Sunday 3rd December 2023 from 12.00pm – 5.00pm. Admission is free. This annual fair is the perfect opportunity to pick up special gifts for loved ones this Christmas with over 60 stands on the day.
Christmas Craft Fair at the Railway
Belturbet Heritage Railway is the place to be on the 25th of November for the Christmas Craft Fair at the Railway! The fair will take place on the railway platform and the goods store from 12pm to 6pm.
Ballinagh Christmas Market
The annual Ballinagh Christmas Market Fair is on Sunday Nov 26th from 10am until 5pm in Ballinagh Community Centre. Expect handmade crafts, artwork, treats, cakes, decorations, gifts, and more! Enjoy arts and crafts, face painting and visit Santa Claus from 10.30am on the day . Christmas lights at Market Square at 6pm.
Cavan Crystal Carol Special
If you are looking for a relaxing, festive evening out this Christmas, then check out Cavan Christmas Carol Special at the Crystal Hotel. The Virginia Gospel Choir and Cavan Rugby Choir Cavan will serenade you with all the Christmas Classics and will also be joined by special guests on the night. The Christmas Carol special takes place on Thursday, 14th December. Doors open from 7.30pm, concert starts at 8pm sharp. The concert is in aid of Little Blue Heroes Foundation. This will put you in the Christmas mood!
